The Academic Programs are designed to encourage faculty from area universities to incorporate courses on the History of Collecting in America into their curricula. Professors from numerous universities, including Columbia, Bard Graduate Center, the Institute of Fine Arts, and Trinity College, attest that the mere existence of the Center encourages academic institutions to include the study of American collecting in their program of studies.

Other area institutions who are interested in information or training may contact the Center at center@frick.org. A comparable focus on the History of Collecting has been encouraged by instructors of the Christie's and Sotheby’s Institute Master Degree programs.
