Oral Histories

The Library will facilitate oral histories of dealers and collectors who played a formative role in shaping American collecting during the 20th century. The oral histories of contemporary collectors will create primary documentation for future historians of the history of collecting in America, and, in some cases, on living artists as well. The long-term goal is to build an archive of oral histories that will become part of the larger archives holdings of the Frick.
