Support for the Center

We are deeply grateful to the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, without whose generosity the Center could not have aspired to launch its programs after just nine months of planning in 2006.

A challenge grant to fund the Center for its first year was offered by Melvin R. Seiden and Janine Luke and was met in 2006 with matching gifts from Peter and Sofia Blanchard, Mr. and Mrs. I. Townsend Burden III and Mr. and Mrs. Juan A. Sabater. Now, with its value to individual scholars and the field of art history proven, the Center is focusing on raising an endowment to guarantee its long-term sustainability.

The Center will phase in programming over the next three years with outside funding. Programs such as the symposia are intended to be collaborative events and will be planned in conjunction with other institutions.

If you are interested in funding the Center or one of its programs or services, please contact support@frick.org.
