School Visits
The Frick Collection invites students in Grades 5–12, as well as college and graduate students, to explore Old Master paintings and European sculpture in the Gilded Age mansion of Henry Clay Frick.
We offer two types of school visit experiences:
Guided Visit
Guided by experienced museum educators, students will study works of art through close observation, group discussion, and interactive activities in the galleries. Visits are available in English, French, Spanish, or Mandarin.
Guided Visits are offered from 10:00–11:15 a.m.
Tuesday–Friday
We accept up to 30 students in grades 5–12, and 15 students in college or graduate groups.
Unguided Visit
Students may enter the Collection and visit the galleries independently. Security will ensure that groups do not travel together through the Collection.
Unguided Visits are offered from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday – Friday
We accept up to 30 students.
Note: Self-guided groups with outside lecturers are prohibited.
