Museum Shop and Admissions Sales Assistant (part-time and seasonal)

Background

The Frick Collection is an art museum consisting of over 1,100 works of art from the 13th to the 19th century, displayed in the intimate surroundings of the former home of Henry Clay Frick. The residence, with its furnishings and works of art, has been open to the public since 1935. It is one of the world’s most perfect museums; its sister research institution the Frick Art Reference Library is of equal distinction. The Frick Art Reference Library, one of the world’s leading centers for research in the history of art, was founded in 1920 by Miss Helen Clay Frick (1988-1984) to further the goals of “encouraging and developing the study of the fine arts and of advancing the general knowledge of ‘kindred subjects’.” The Library became a division of the The Frick Collection in 1987.
