Private Group Tours
To maintain a contemplative environment for visitors experiencing The Frick Collection, the Frick does not permit guided tours during hours that the museum is open to the public. It can, however, accommodate a limited number of private, one-hour tours on Mondays and Thursdays during designated hours when the museum is closed to the public.
Subject to availability, private one-hour tours can be scheduled at the following times:
Monday Afternoons
Tours are available on select Mondays, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Only one group per hour will be scheduled.
Thursday Mornings
Every Thursday, one tour will be available from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
The Frick Collection will provide a lecturer from its education or curatorial department for each private tour. Under special circumstances, groups may be permitted to bring their own lecturer. The Museum Shop will be open on request.
Fees
Private group tours for adults are $50.00 per person; tours for academic groups are $10 per person. In addition, a payment of $200 will be charged for all groups — regardless of size — to cover operating expenses. Fees charged are for a minimum of ten people. Fees for private tours must be paid in full at least two weeks in advance of scheduled tour date. All private tour fees are non-refundable.
Scheduling
Requests for private group tours must be made at least one month in advance.
