Adam Eaker

Adam Eaker is the Anne L. Poulet Curatorial Fellow for 2013-15 and a doctoral candidate at Columbia University. A specialist in Northern European art of the fifteenth through seventeenth centuries, he is writing his dissertation on Anthony van Dyck and will concentrate on the artist's paintings in The Frick Collection during his fellowship term. He was a recipient of a Riggio Fellowship from Columbia University and a research fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation, which enabled him to spend a year as a visiting scholar at the Rubenianum research center in Antwerp. He also served as a research assistant for the exhibition Varieties of Romantic Experience: Drawings from the Collection of Charles Ryskamp (Yale Center for British Art, 2010) and wrote the artist biographies for the exhibition catalogue.
