Aimee Ng

Guest Curator Aimee Ng is a Research Associate at The Frick Collection and a Lecturer in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University, where she earned her Ph.D. She earned her B.F.A. at Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario), with a specialization in painting. Ng’s current projects focus on Italian artists exiled from Rome after the Sack of Rome in 1527 — including Rosso Fiorentino, Parmigianino, and Sebastiano del Piombo — and on the inventive processes of Parmigianino in his paintings, drawings, and prints. She is guest curator of the Frick’s special exhibition The Poetry of Parmigianino’s “Schiava Turca” (May 13 to July 20, 2014).
