Nathaniel Silver is The Frick Collection's guest curator of the exhibition Piero della Francesca in America (February – May 2013) and editor of its accompanying catalogue. He holds a Ph.D. from University College London and an M.A. from the Courtauld Institute of Art. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow at the Frick and an invited participant in The Material Life of Things Project, a Courtauld Research Forum initiative. His publications include an essay on drawings after antique sculpture in Taddeo and Federico Zuccaro: Artist Brothers in Renaissance Rome (J. Paul Getty Museum, 2007) and catalogue entries on drawings by Claude Lorrain and Gianlorenzo Bernini in Master Drawings from the Courtauld Gallery (The Frick Collection and The Courtauld Institute of Art, 2012). Most recently, he reviewed the summer exhibition at the Galleria degli Uffizi for The Burlington Magazine (November 2012).
