In September, the Frick hosted a Community and Cultural Partnerships Evening, honoring our sixteen partner organizations across the city. Director Ian Wardropper gave remarks, affirming the museum’s commitment to welcoming students, people with developmental disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, families with low income, future doctors, and rising artists. Students and representatives from the Frick’s partner organizations enjoyed music and refreshments in the Garden Court, as well as talks and conversations led by museum educators in the galleries.

The Frick’s Community and Cultural Partners to date are The Academy for Teachers, The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance, Apex for Youth, The Boys’ Club of New York, Columbia University: Art Humanities, Columbia University: Narrative Medicine, The East Harlem School, Ghetto Film School, Hunter College, The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre, Job Path NYC, The Juilliard School Drama Division, Mannes School of Music, P.S. 84 The Lillian Weber School of The Arts, Prep for Prep, and Sanctuary for Families.
