21 hours per week.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Corporate and Foundation Relations Assistant provides essential support for all restricted giving and corporate and foundation fundraising. The Assistant will be responsible for processing gifts and tracking all corporate, foundation, government, and exhibition proposals and grants in the Raiser’s Edge database; organizing and maintaining files; keeping an up-to-date calendar of grant proposal and report deadlines; sending out and acknowledging corporate membership renewals; and assisting in donor fulfillment and stewardship duties. S/he will also aid in preparing proposal materials, annual grant reports, and exhibition closing reports.
Undergraduate degree. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Attention to detail is essential, as are excellent written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required and experience with Raiser’s Edge or other database applications is preferred. Previous experience in development at a cultural institution a plus.
Work Hours and Compensation
Work hours are flexible and can work with school or other commitments but must be scheduled from Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Compensation is $20/hour.
