Learn about the resources of the Frick Art Reference Library and view a selection of related books, archives, and videos. Enter through the door in the British Portraiture Gallery (Room 21).

Sketching in the Galleries

Location: Third Floor |  Map
Sketch independently from works of art in the third-floor galleries. Drawing materials will be provided at a supply table near the elevators. Limited seating is provided (gallery stools and benches).

Costumed Figure Drawing

Location: Café (LG level) |  Map
Practice figure drawing with costumed models in the café throughout the evening. Free materials are available at a nearby supply table. Limited seating is provided (chairs and benches with back support).

Music and Refreshments

Location: Café (LG level) |  Map
Enjoy jazz music throughout the evening provided by Benjamin Cousins (clarinet), Matt Sewell (guitar), and Daniel Winshall (bass). A free menu of non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks is available, while supplies last. Please enjoy refreshments in the café and outdoor courtyard only—no food or drinks are allowed in the lobby or galleries.
