Summer Institute for High School Students: The Monument and the Miniature

sculpture of seated George Washington writing on plaqueIn this free, two-week program, high school students explore the history of Western portraiture, drawing on both the upcoming special exhibition Canova’s George Washington and The Frick Collection’s celebrated portrait holdings. The Summer Institute will meet Mondays through Thursdays from July 16 to 26, 2018. Student programs are made possible, in part, by the Christian Keesee Charitable Trust.
