multi-colored wool scarf
Veronese Scarf

The design for this scarf is adapted from the sumptuous colors in The Choice Between Virtue and Vice, by the Italian painter Veronese.

The painting depicts a man dressed in pure white encountering fashionably dressed sixteenth-century women, representing virtue and vice, vying for his allegiance. The brilliance of Veronese’s colors, the luxurious rendering of materials, and the clarity of his compositions made the painter a favorite of some of the greatest art collectors.
