Olafur Eliasson and Claude Monet

The Frick presents an installation inspired by the acclaimed Diptych publication series. In conjunction with a book focused on Claude Monet’s Vétheuil in Winter, the Frick shows a work created for the occasion by Olafur Eliasson (b. 1967, Denmark) alongside the Monet painting, one of the museum’s few Impressionist works.

The Gregory Gift

A remarkable gift of fine and decorative works of art was bequeathed to the Frick by Alexis Gregory (1936–2020) and was shown as a group for the first time in this exhibition. The eclectic assemblage includes pastels, enamels, clocks, and objects made of metal, enamel, and hardstone.
