Cornelia Bierens

Silver portrait medal of Cornelia Bierens wearing ermine-lined coat and flowered cap
Silver medal of a curtain hanging from a mantel topped by an oil lamp and an hourglass with the two wings, that of a bird’s to the left (life and day) and of a bat on the right (death and night) with a serpent eating its tail (ouroboros), all symbols of eternity. The ouroboros, encircling the Roman number C (100), with a sunburst behind, rests on a palm and laurel branch (again, eternity), beneath which is the date MDCCXC
