Giulio Dalvit on Vecchietta

On April 7, 2026, Associate Curator Giulio Dalvit delivered a lecture for Fellows on the fifteenth-century Sienese artist known as Vecchietta. Dalvit discussed his recent publication Vecchietta, the first monograph devoted to the artist, Vecchietta’s legacy in Italian Renaissance art and the art that followed, and his bronze relief of The Resurrection, which Henry Clay Frick acquired in 1916.
