Chairman of the Board Margot Bogert announces the election of a new Trustee, Antonio Weiss. Antonio Weiss is Global Head of Investment Banking for Lazard, one of the world’s preeminent financial advisory firms. He has been an investment banker for more than twenty years, with equal experience in the United States and Europe. From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Weiss served as Vice Chairman of European Investment Banking in Lazard’s Paris office. He helped develop the firm’s activities across Continental Europe during the period of corporate consolidation following monetary union. In 2009, he returned to Lazard’s New York City office to lead the firm’s global mergers and acquisitions practice. Mr. Weiss has
advised clients in a variety of industries, most often on cross-border or contested matters. Representative transactions include the purchase of Motorola by Google; the buy-out of Burger King by 3G; the acquisition of Cadbury by Kraft; the sale of CCE North America to Coca Cola; the combination of Anheuser Busch and InBev; the merger of KKR and KPE; and the acquisitions of Gerber and Novartis Medical Nutrition by Nestlé.
