Flora Yukhnovich’s Four Seasons
Join the Frick on a summer 2025 visit to the studio of artist Flora Yukhnovich (b. England, 1990), when she was working on the four paintings now on view in the museum’s Cabinet Gallery. The site-specific installation Flora Yukhnovich’s Four Seasons (through March 9, 2026) takes inspiration from François Boucher’s 1755 series The Four Seasons, from the Frick’s permanent collection. Drawing on the French Rococo, Italian Baroque, and Abstract Expressionist movements, Yukhnovich boldly reinterprets Boucher’s scenes, enabling visitors to step through a portal into immersive and imaginative worlds of her creation.
