Policies

Only children ages 10 and older are admitted.

Groups enter at our Library and Group Entrance at 10 East 71st Street during the week and at our Main Entrance at 1 East 70th Street during the weekend.

If your group has more than 30 people total, you will be split into two or more groups in consecutive time slots.

The Frick does not permit unauthorized lectures, tours, classes, or guided visits led by third parties. Anyone engaged in such activity will be asked to end their tours immediately. Members of a group reservation should move through the galleries in small clusters or individually to avoid crowding and to maintain a quiet, contemplative experience for all our visitors.

Photography, food, and water bottles (unless medically necessary) are not allowed in the galleries. See our full visitor guidelines.

We recommend that groups intending to study a specific work of art check the work’s status on our website, since objects may be temporarily off view.
