Partnership Visit: The Juilliard School Drama Division

Group standing in front of a painting at The Frick Collection

In December, students from the Juilliard School Drama Division visited for a close look at Claude’s Sermon on the Mount, in conversation with Rika Burnham, Head of Education. The Frick has partnered with Juilliard Drama since 2010, welcoming groups of students into the galleries each year. In their visits, students develop critical interpretive faculties, which they then apply to their work of script analysis, criticism, and historical study. These visits are emblematic of Juilliard’s mission to nurture the whole instrument—body, mind, and imagination.
